I almost had to cry when you reminded me what my new SUV looked likeafter a trip to Orange Beach last summer with 4 kids, 2 dogs, and 3 adults. I have yet to get the BBQ sauce of the floor mats in the back seat after a mini food fight.
This year it will be lounging by the backyard pool. Much more restful, no drama about who’s turn it is to sit by the window…..etc.
We are thankfull that we found you online last spring and we are looking toward having a fantastic summer in our model San Antonio American Fiberglass Pool!!! James

    • R. Wayne Stringer says:

Hi James. You might try a little vitamin C powder and water on the floor mats. It is a very mild acid. I too am glad you found us last year and wish your fmaily much Happy swimming!

An attention-grabbing disiusscon is worth comment. I believe that you must write more on this subject, it might not be a taboo topic but usually persons are not sufficient to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers

A pool sure makes a lot more since than a roadtrip! The cost of gas alone deters even thinking about driving much farther than the grocery store or to Grand Mama’s house.

Your list is not quite complete.
You did not list STRESS associated with vacations.
The tension leading up to actually leaving for that “restful” vacation requires a chain saw to cut thru it!
Our pool and spa are wonderful STRESS relievers that just keep on giving…….LG lll

    • R. Wayne Stringer says:

Hi LG. I believe you are right. I should have included STRESS to my list of items. Happy to hear that your pool and spa use are the perfect end to a long day!

  4. Cindie S. says:

Who can afford anymore to take vacations? I can stay at home, layout by my American Fiberglass Pool and have clearer, cleaner water to swim in than Hawaii, Cancun, Cayman Islands, or Destin!! Cindie Sims

    • R. Wayne Stringer says:

Aloha Cindie. Please to hear that your American Fiberglass Pool is a piece of paradise for y’all!

  5. Melissa says:

It important to make those trips out of town to visit our loved ones while they are still with us.
It is even more important that we make our own home a place of refuge and family togetherness for our kids and grand babies.
A pool is at the top of the list to provide that family refuge from the day and the escape from the real world.

  6. Girl Next Door says:

Grew up with a pool, have a pool now, building a pool at our new home…..Never saw the need to travel much to have fun. When my girlfriends come over to swim and lay out, it is a beach party every time.

    • R. Wayne Stringer says:

You are correct. Travel industry is way down, stay at home to have fun in a pool is way up!

Time is so important these days. I have time to swim in my pool almost every day. The last thing I have time for or want to make time for is getting the family ready for a road trip. Gas is so expensive these days. Maybe when the elections occur some one will start making some sense about the cost of travel.

    • R. Wayne Stringer says:

Correctamundo John! Pools can be made to be used everyday. As for the elections, I hope these politicians get some “good ol’ fashion horse sense” too!

While in-ground pools are much more costly they seem to dpivore so much more in visual appeal. They are really an asset when selling your home. Ashley

    • R. Wayne Stringer says:

You are correct that inground pools have tremendous visual appeal. They are as well typically an asset when selling a home. Most folks with younger families are striving for the entertainment value for the kids (and themselves) that only an inground pool offers.

  11. M. L. Breitling says:

If you think your gas prices are high , visit Europe. We are at over $11. American for a gallon of gas. You Americans really have life made, big cars, big houses, a pool in every backyard.

    • R. Wayne Stringer says:

M.L. Every backyard in America does not have a pool, but we are working hard to make that happen!
